Groundbreaking: Center for Biotechnology
Groundbreaking Ceremony
Friday, San Jacinto College held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Center for Biotechnology their Generation Park campus. The ceremony celebrated the partnership between the world-renowned National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) and San Jacinto College, as they look forward to the opening of the Center for Biotechnology in early 2025.
Following the groundbreaking, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held at San Jacinto’s South Campus for the launch of their Biomanufacturing Training Program. Enrollment has begun for their new Biomanufacturing Training Program with classes starting this Fall. Once the Center for Biotechnology is constructed at Generation Park, this program and more advanced offerings will be available.
What is the Center for Biotechnology?
The state-of-the-art Center for Biotechnology will provide comprehensive, hands-on training with realistic good manufacturing practices (GMP) simulated environments and offer an associate of applied science degree in biomanufacturing technology, and shorter credentials for post-graduates, to meet workforce needs.
Who’s Involved?
The Center for Biotechnology will have a regional impact for the Houston economy, attracting industry investment and talent to the region, and positioning Houston as a leader in biopharma workforce development.
Great to see San Jacinto College expanding biotech training! When intense work tests my focus, I love unwinding with fast-paced Action Games to recharge my energy.
I found this post while reading about a related subject and appreciated how naturally the information was explained. During my browsing, I also came across jaya9. It is useful when an informative article leads readers toward related resources that can help them learn more about a topic independently.
This is an exciting milestone for biotechnology education and workforce development. Congratulations to dinosaur game San Jacinto College and NIBRT on this impactful partnership!
Enjoy a different kind of basketball challenge with Basketball Random, where every play can unfold in surprising ways. The unusual physics can send players jumping, flipping, or reaching for the ball at unexpected moments. Simple controls keep the focus on timing, reactions, and having fun.
This is a major step for biotech training. For such facilities, stable environmental control is vital. In my experience, a centralized platform using smart climate control for retail principles can ensure precise temperatures and air quality across labs, supporting both research and trainee comfort while managing energy costs effectively.
