Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern
This week, the Generation Park team decided to head to Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern to experience Cistern Illuminated! This art installation features a lightshow synced with music to give an out of this world feel! Mixed with the reflections of the water, and the echoes giving a sense of sound surrounding you, Cistern Illuminated did not disappoint! The art installation also featured interactive segments where you could walk up to a microphone and manipulate the lights with a clap, yell, or any other form of noise you desire to make!
The Cistern also offers guided tours to give you an in depth history of the old drinking reservoir that the city of Houston relied on.
